3D Solid Modeling & Assembly Design
Parametric part and assembly modeling built for downstream use — clean feature trees, reusable geometry, and models that update the way they should when requirements change.
Precision Mechanical Design & Drafting
Arclight CAD delivers production-grade 3D modeling, detail drawings, and technical documentation for teams that can't afford a design that almost fits. Decades of experience in high-reliability, precision-driven engineering environments, now available for projects of any size.
From concept geometry to shop-ready documentation.
Parametric part and assembly modeling built for downstream use — clean feature trees, reusable geometry, and models that update the way they should when requirements change.
Fully dimensioned, shop-ready drawings with clear callouts, revision control, and a drafting standard your team or your supplier can actually follow.
Routing of rigid and flexible lines through tight, congested envelopes — balancing clearance, bend limits, serviceability, and interference with surrounding structure.
Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing applied with intent, not habit — datums and tolerances chosen to control function, not just pass a checklist.
Designs reviewed against how they'll actually be built — machined, formed, welded, or fabricated — to reduce cost and rework before a drawing ever gets released.
Fully annotated 3D models for suppliers and shops working directly from model data, reducing translation error between design intent and the part on the table.
Bringing old 2D drawings or outdated CAD files forward into a current, maintainable 3D model and drawing set.
Specification and requirements documentation written to be used — by a supplier, a shop floor, or a reviewer — not just filed away.
Arclight CAD is built on more than two decades of hands-on mechanical design and drafting experience, including over 15,000 hours in CATIA V5, developed in high-reliability, precision-driven engineering environments where a design either meets tolerance or it doesn't ship.
That standard carries over to every project here: tight tolerances, producible designs, and documentation clean enough that someone other than the designer can pick it up and build from it.
Arclight CAD takes on focused design and drafting engagements — a single assembly, a drawing package, a routing study, a legacy conversion — without the overhead of a full engineering firm.
A short conversation about what you need — geometry, drawings, format, deadline — and whether it's a good fit.
A clear, fixed-scope quote with a realistic delivery date before any work begins.
Work-in-progress checkpoints so there are no surprises at delivery — you see it before it's final.
Finished models, drawings, and documentation in the formats you need, ready to use.
Flexible on environment, strict on data handling.
For engagements involving licensed or proprietary CAD platforms, Arclight CAD works inside whatever secure environment the client provides — a virtual desktop (VDI), a VPN-tunneled connection to a floating license pool, or a cloud platform tenant with named-user access. No client software or license is installed or held locally unless the client specifically provides it for that purpose.
Models, drawings, and project files live where the client's security policy puts them — their VDI, their vault, their repository. Arclight CAD doesn't require local copies of proprietary data to do the work, and follows whatever access controls, MFA, or file-handling restrictions the client already has in place.
For engagements using tools Arclight CAD licenses independently, work is done on Arclight CAD's own hardware and software, with deliverables handed off in the client's preferred file formats.
